Does getting a tattoo hurt?

It's definitely an irritating feeling.

 

Can I get a tattoo if I'm under 18?

Orange Tattoo Company does not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 under any circumstances.

 

Is getting a tattoo safe?

At Orange Tattoo Company just about everything we use is sterilie one-time use & disposable. We also use the same equipment (autoclave) that a hospital uses to sterilize our equipment.

 

Can I bring in my own design or have something drawn for me?

Absolutely, just keep in mind some designs don't always translate into great tattoos. So we will some times have to redraw it a bit to make it tattooable. We are more than happy to draw for you as well but it's always best to consult with one of our artists first as we do not charge for drawings so we do not want to draw the same design multiple times.

 

Can I see my tattoo drawing prior to my appointment?

In most cases, no. We draw according to our appointments so most of the time drawings are not completed until the night before the appoinment. But...don't worry, if there is alterations needed to be made to the design we are happy to do that with you the day of your appointment.

 

Do you charge for drawings?

We do not charge for drawings, we just require to make a tattoo appointment with deposit which goes towards the cost of your tattoo.

 

How much does a tattoo cost?

Our minimum is $60. Prices vary not only on size. Body placement and detail are factors in pricing. We do not charge hourly unless it is a large scale tattoo that takes several sessions like sleeves & full back pieces. Otherwise we charge just a flat price.

 

How can I pay?

We except Cash, Visa, Mastercard, & Discover. We do not except American Express or Personal Checks.

 

Do I have to leave a deposit for an appointment & is it Refundable?

All tattoos require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. This deposit will be applied to the cost of your tattoo. If your tattoo requires multiple sessions, your deposit will be applied to the final session. If you/tattoo client need to reschedule your appointment, a 24 hour notice is required or your deposit will be forfeited. With the requested 24 hour notice all tattoo appointments and full amount of deposit can be rescheduled up to (2) two times. After (2) two appointment reschedules by you/tattoo client your deposit may be forfeited. Tattoo appointment cancellation or no-call no-show by you/tattoo client will also result in a deposit forfeit.

 

How do colors turn out?

Think of your skin as a filter over the tattoo. Darker & tanned skins will mute or obscure the color. Lighter skin will allow the color to be more vibrant.

 

Can I be allergic to the ink?

It is possible to be allergic to the ink, however allergies to the colors are very rare.

 

If I'm pregnant can I still get a tattoo?

We will not tattoo anyone who is pregnant, getting a tattoo does cause some stress to your body that may not be healthy for your baby.

 

Do you offer piercing?

No we don't.
